Dear GAPASCA family and friends,
Looking back and looking forward.
Last year was the best year ever for GAPASCA. In addition to our existing programs, two major programs were launched that brought the organization to a different level. They were the highlights of 2017. We welcomed the year with our first Medical and Dental Mission and closed the year with the launching of Adopt-A-Grandparent Program. The success of these new programs demonstrated the commitment of our members to do more for our hometown Gapan City. We have focused on increasing our ability to meet and exceed our members, donors and benefactors expectations. We believe that by doing good, the Power of Giving will take its own course, and it did. The record breaking support from our donors and benefactors will sustain our programs while increasing the positive impact of our mission.
Looking forward, the highlights of the 2018 agenda are the Scholarship Banquet on March 23, 2018, where GAPASCA’s Adopt-A-Student Scholarship Program will award college scholarships to another batch of twenty high school graduates as well as the Medical and Dental Mission on March 24-25, 2018. We also look forward to seeing our nine college scholars graduate in March 2019.
Looking back and reflecting on what the past year brought to the organization; looking forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead; and making a list of objectives are healthy exercises for the officers of GAPASCA, as they provide a road map for the things we hope to accomplish in the coming twelve months.
The exceptional commitment of our officers and members is our single greatest strength. They continue to inspire me and I am excited to see them more engaged and taking the lead. It’s an amazing privilege to lead an organization where doing good is in the blood of our members.
I am grateful for the continued trust given to us by our benefactors and donors. My wish is that my fellow board members, the 2018 officers and I can keep your trust as we work harder to secure your continued support for GAPASCA’s life changing programs in the community we serve.
Have a Blessed and Happy New Year!
